2018 JAMB UTME/DE form Updates
Below are a few important information as regards the 2018 Unified Tertiary
Matriculation exam (UTME) and Direct entry as released through the Joint
Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
1. The period of sale/registration for all candidates (UTME/DE)
such as those from foreign countries is from 6th December, 2017
to 6th February, 2018.
2. As was done last year, the Board will even conduct a mock
exam in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and
familiarise interested candidates with the CBT environment.
interested candidates are recommended to indicate their interest in the
mock examination during registration provided it is on or before
31st December, 2017. The MOCK examination shall begin from
Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th January,
3. JAMB have banned the usage of wristwatches and pens by candidates
and other people in the exam hall.
4. The price of the 2018 UTME Registration form will be N5000
(which includes the N300 commission paid on each application to selling
factors) as it was for 2017.
5. foreign based applicants would pay the sum of $20 dollars per
candidate as against $100 and $150 dollars paid in 2017 for
applicants in Africa and outside Africa, respectively.
